Studio Sakse

“Studio Sakse is a film production social enterprise, working to create a fully functioning micro-film industry in Kachin within the next 5-10 years. With feature and short films being regularly written, shot and edited by local Kachin fiction, animation and documentary film makers.

‘Maran’  – The first feature film from Sakse was 75% complete when Covid halted all shooting till now.  

Animation will be a large part of Sakse’s plans for the future.

We already have the physical space for a production studio in Chiang Mai & are currently seeking funding for the necessary gear and more film-centric workshops to fully realize the potential of Studio Sakse.
