Sakse is looking for a full time experienced program manager. The Sakse manager would be incharge of overseeing a wide rage of projects that we already are running, but can be greatly improved & expanded, including
preparing exhibitions
manage Everyday Kachin
manage the free AIR program
manage the Sakse archive
manage our monthly grant programs
manage print sales
assist in organizing workshops & events
manage staff & interns to complete projects
Specific skills needed
Jinghpaw, Burmese & English language skills
Basic - intermediate accounting skills
Intermediate computer skills
Organized & motivated
Additional skills that are a plus
Knowledge of / contacts in the photo & media world. ( Local & international )
Past experience working in the photo / media worlds

This position is full time ( 40 hours per week ) working at Studio Sakse in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Communications Director
Sakse is looking for a part time experienced communications director. It is vital to this position, to be well versed in the history & current affairs of Burma and Kachin.
The communications director would write or edit all texts for the website, postings & publications. They would write original content for the Sakse archive + edit or write captions for the archive's images.
This position could be done remotely.

Solid background knowledge of Burma & Kachin

Sakse is looking for a full time experienced project specialist would work under the director & manager to help manifest them in the real world with quality results. The Sakse project specialist would be incharge of overseeing a wide range of projects. On the job training is provided, but any experience with these tasks are a plus
